Welcome to the livingprestige.co.uk website terms and conditions for use. These apply to the use of this Website, and you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

This site is owned and operated by Living Prestige ("Living Prestige, we, our, us").

Changes

We aim to constantly improve and develop the Living Prestige website for the benefit of all our customers, to allow this process to take place, we may occasionally:

modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part of it) with or without notice; and/or

Update the conditions from time to time and your continued use of the Website (or any part of it) following such change will demonstrate your acceptance of such change.

Alter or extend promotions at any time.

If we are informed of any inaccuracies in the material on the we will attempt to correct them as soon as we can.

Content

We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. Should there be any pricing errors, the customer will be required to pay the difference or the order will be cancelled. All prices are displayed inclusive of V.A.T. We make every effort to display the colour of the furniture as accurately as possible. But as colour reproduction depends on your computer’s monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of the colour is accurate to the actual product.

Order Processing

You will be informed of the approximate length of time until delivery within 24 hours. Once your order is confirmed as available for delivery, we will contact you to confirm your delivery date 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Where possible we will deliver on the first available van in your area. Every effort is made to see that the approximate delivery date is accurate, but on rare occasions the manufacture of your furniture may be delayed through circumstances beyond our control. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed.

Delivery

On the day of delivery, please ensure that the delivery team can gain easy access to the room that the furniture is going into. Please make sure that the area you want the furniture placed is cleared. To make sure you are completely satisfied with your furniture the delivery team will ask you to sign for your furniture after it has been delivered.

Any shortage of or damage to goods that should have been obvious on delivery must be notified to delivery driver immediately.

Payment

Primary payment method is cash on delivery. On special orders you will be required to make a small deposit either via card or bank transfer.

Payment methods include debit or credit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Delta/Connect or Maestro.

Finance agreements in respect of credit sales will be fulfilled when the delivery of all items has been made.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing as soon as possible. If your order is a special-order product, it may not be possible to cancel it and this will incur a minimum 20% restocking charge being applied. Stock order cancellations may incur an administration charge.

Due to their intimate nature, all mattresses will be delivered sealed in clear plastic wrapping that will allow for inspection. Any mattresses that have been unsealed will be deemed as having been used. Therefore, they cannot be returned for any reason other than because they are not as described or are not of satisfactory quality.

The customer may cancel any contract for the purchase of goods from Living Prestige within 3 days of the order being placed.  Cancellation after this time could result in the forfeiture of deposit due to the goods having to be specially ordered.

For distance selling (online), as the customer, you are allowed to return the item if you change your mind.  You have the right to cancel at any time from the moment you place the order online, up until 14 days from the day you receive the goods.  You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us of cancellation to return the goods. 

With regard to faulty goods, you have the right to reject the goods if they are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described and get a full refund.  This right is limited to 30 days from the date you took ownership of the goods. 

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:

• We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
• We do not deliver to your area; or
• one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.

If we cancel your contract, we will notify you by email and will credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Special Orders

Your order will be classed as a special order and you will be required to pay a deposit if, the options you have selected for your order are not a usually stocked item and have to be ordered specially from the manufacturer. You will be notified of this within 48 hours of your order. 

Returns

If you wish to return your order you must notify us in writing within 14 calendar days from the day you receive your order.

All returns must be in original condition otherwise they will be deemed non-returnable.

The customer is responsible for all returns shipping charges and must make sure it is delivered in a resaleable condition before any refund will be made.

Guarantee

All products on this website are guaranteed for 12 months (UK Mainland only) from the date of delivery. Any claims must be made in writing and can take 7 days to process.

Copyright

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times with us or licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by Living Prestige. You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within this website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
